Whistle Inn, nestled in the heart of Nichols, Wisconsin, is a charming bar & grill that perfectly blends classic small-town hospitality with a lively, welcoming atmosphere. Known not only for its thoughtfully crafted menu but also for its vibrant event space, Whistle Inn stands out as a local gem where good times and good food come together effortlessly.

The culinary offerings here focus on hearty American bar & grill favorites, skillfully prepared to satisfy comfort-food cravings. Signature dishes like the Bacon Cheeseburger and generous Burger and Fries are true crowd-pleasers, boasting perfectly seasoned patties paired with crispy, golden fries that offer that addictive crunch with every bite. For those who appreciate bold flavors, the Bloody Mary—made with a famously homemade mix and garnished with the bar’s notorious pickled eggs—is an absolute must-try. It’s no exaggeration when customers share that the bartender goes through 1,000 pickled eggs every couple of weeks, a testament to just how popular this savory drink is.

The spacious back room with its stage and expansive dance floor frequently hosts live music and events, turning weekends into memorable nights alive with dancing and camaraderie. Guests have raved about catching lively performances by bands such as the Crankin Yankees, where the energy is infectious, and everyone is encouraged to let loose and enjoy themselves.

Didn't get a chance to try the food as I was there for a event but it was a nice little bar with a nice little back area for events if you're looking for a small ball room for a wedding or some other event

Awesome fish and mashed potatoes with beef tips. The owner of the bar was extremely friendly and went out of her way to satisfy our snowmobile club. We really enjoyed the evening.

Stopped in the early afternoon. Truly an fun old fashioned bar. We had a delicious Bloody Mary with homemade mix and pickled eggs. The bartender said she goes through 1000 pickled eggs every couple weeks. They have a lot of fun events scheduled and a big back room with a stage and dance floor. We stopped again on the way home. They had a good selection of beers including IPA.
